The Rype Zero is probably the world's most sustainable task chair, chosen by the Howard de Walden Estate and Transport for Wales for their head offices.
The mechanism, arms and shell are taken from the Ergonomic Excellence winning Giroflex 64 (from a batch of 3,000 formerly used in Goldman Sachs's London offices).
The base was repolished by the same master polisher in the UK who originally polished the base.
The seat and back foam have been redesigned to create ergonomic comfort with a firm feeling analogous to a Swiss ball, while updating the chair's appearance. The pads themselves are made in the UK by the company who make seats for Jaguar Land Rover.
Upholstered in hardwearing 100% recycled post-consumer waste polyester Camira Xtreme fabric.
This is grade A upcycled chair, designed and remanufactured in High Wycombe in Buckinghamshire, continuing the town's furniture craftsmanship heritage.
It has full ergonomic adjustability, including seat height and depth adjustability, 3D adjustable arms, tilt tension adjust, tilt lock and adjustable lumbar height.
The price includes VAT.
